At Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International, instrument approaches serve all four runway ends, so the procedure set is not concentrated on one direction. ILS, RNAV (GPS) and localiser options are represented, while the large body of departure and arrival charts shows that routing into and away from the runway environment forms much of the published coverage. At 9,000 and 8,000 ft, the parallel runways differ by only 1,000 ft; the second is not a markedly shorter strip.
Miami International has a broader procedure set, while Miami-Opa Locka Executive, Pompano Beach Airpark and Fort Lauderdale Executive also have substantial coverage. North Perry’s set is much thinner. The Miami Terminal Area Chart adds detailed local VFR context, the Miami Sectional broadens the regional view, and Caribbean 1 extends that VFR coverage beyond the immediate terminal area.
