FSX PenAir Jetstream 41 Fix

Peninsula Airways PenAir repaint for the PMDG Jetstream 41 refines the livery’s alpha channel to balance reflections and prevent shimmering, delivering a cleaner finish in exterior views and the virtual cockpit. Designed for FSX, it requires the PMDG Jetstream 41 and replaces earlier texture files with improved, more realistic materials.

This is a redo of the previous painting for PMDG's Jetstream 41 of Peninsula Airways. The reason for the redo was to correct the alpha channel. The last old files had a bit too much reflection on it, and so it had to shimmer too much. This one has a better balance in reflection, which eliminates the shimming. If you downloaded the previous file, just replace the texture files with these, but if this is the first time downloading it, there is a readme file for you. By Johnny Rosario.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme
