This texture was created for the "David Carroll FSX Beechcraft D18S/SNB" native version of Milton Shupe's Beech D-18.
Important: You will need the David Carroll FSX Beechcraft D18S/SNB to use this file.
David Carrol's conversion is a full FSX Acceleration SDK compliant version of the Beechcraft D18S originally produced by Milton Shupe and Scott Thomas and is provided with their permission.
Spantax S.A. was a Spanish airline that operated from 1959 to 1988. Its head office was located in Madrid.
The texture.spantax file contains the aircraft skin, bump maps and specular files to create a highly detailed, natural looking skin.
This aircraft is a composite of various archive photos of the Spantax Beechcraft C-45 Expeditor. I've tried to make an accurate depiction of the original aircraft.
Installation:
- Open the D18SX_DC folder, the most common path is as example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes
- Copy the entire folder , texture.spantax , into the D18SX_DC folder.
- Open the AIRCRAFT.CFG and copy the FLTSIM text below into it after the last [FLTSIM.x] section. Change the X below to the next number in the sequence for your CFG.
