FS2004 Western Airlines Lockheed L-049

Western Airlines livery textures for the Alphasim Lockheed L-049 Constellation recreate aircraft N86525 in late-1960s service, reflecting the former Pacific Northern fleet used on Seattle–Alaska routes after the 1967 merger. Built for FS2004, it refreshes the exterior with period-accurate markings and colors and requires the payware Alphasim L-049 model.

Textures only for the payware Alphasim L-049 Constellation. Acquired following a merger with Pacific Northern in 1967, Western operated a small fleet of L-749 Constellations between Seattle and Alaska. N86525 and two other ex Delta C&S Constellations were purchased by PNA to replace DC-4 equipment. These textures depict N86525 about 1968. Textures by Gary Harper.

I was browsing this website and the connie sim. page had the image of the last connie to fly a scheduled flight in the U.S. a sea. to anc. flight . My father was captain on that flight which was great honor for him . I still have spark plug in acrylic from that flight . and a p.n.a. connie maintanace manual . If I graduate to a.t.r. sim this is on the top of the list.
