Japan Airlines’ Boeing 777-200ER JA711J wears the 2011 “new” livery on the SkySpirit2012 model, built as an FSX-native package with detailed textures, full night lighting, and an animated virtual cockpit. Expect flexing wings, responsive gear and rudder logic, independent suspension, opening doors, tilting bogies, rolling wheels, and working thrust reversers.

  • Unzip the file to the 'FS Root\SimObjects\Airplane' directory.

  • Move the alternate Aircraft.cfg, Panel & Sounds folders in the included '\FSX' folder into the main aircraft folder overwriting the originals.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
