FSX Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport Scenery

Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport (KGFL) for FSX refreshes Glens Falls, New York with enhanced aprons and taxiways, expanded parking areas, additional buildings, and carefully placed static aircraft and vehicles. Corrected runway markings and refined landside details, including a cleared circular driveway and new flagpole, use only default objects with no extra libraries.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport (KGFL), Glens Falls, New York (NY). Aprons and taxiways were added, parking lots added, buildings added and static planes and vehicles added. Also removed one building that was placed on the circular driveway and added a flagpole inside the circle. Runway markings were corrected. By Jim Cook.

Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport Scenery.

This is a re-worked version of Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport using Flight 1's Instant Scenery and AFX.

I use Ultimate Terrain USA, so the circular drive my not appear if you don't have it. I also use FSGenesis landclass. I also checked the airport with Scenery Tech landclass and that works fine also.

All objects are standard FSX object, no additional libraries needed.

INSTALLATION:

Simply extract the files AFX_KGFL_JC.bgl and KGFL_JC.bgl to your FSX Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
