Massena International Airport (KMSS) in New York receives a detailed overhaul with expanded GA parking, added buildings, a corrected missing taxiway, and extra ramp life from static aircraft, vehicles, and scene filler. Built from stock objects for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it follows current AirNav and Google Earth references for an authentic layout.

Massena International Airport Scenery.

Here is an improved version of the stock Massena, NY Airport. I added some GA parking spaces and added several buildings, and a missing taxiway. I added quite a bit of "eye-candy" in the form of static airplanes and vehicles, and other filler objects. It's just a short hop to Canada from here, or you can fly along the St. Lawrence Seaway, or head south and enjoy the majesty of the Adirondack Mountains.

I use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the two files KMSS_AFX_JC.bgl and KMSS_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
