FSX / P3D scenery

FSX Sheppard AFB/Wichita Falls Scenery

Sheppard AFB/Wichita Falls Municipal Airport (KSPS) gets a sharper, more accurate layout with taxiways and ramps repositioned to match current satellite imagery, plus added buildings, static aircraft, service vehicles, and dedicated military and civil parking. Corrected taxiway signs, closed-area markings, relocated tower, and active crosswind runways enhance operations in FSX; requires FSX Acceleration for all objects.

Sheppard AFB/Wichita Falls Municipal Airport (KSPS), Texas (TX). This is an improved version of the default KSPS airport. All taxiways and ramp areas moved and resized according to the latest Google Earth satellite image. Buildings, static aircraft, fire hall and vehicles along with other filler objects added. Parking positions for military and civil aircraft added. All taxiway signs corrected and X's placed on closed areas. Control tower moved to correct position. Crosswind runways activated. These modifications made using ADE 1.37 and stock FSX and FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack library objects. If you do not have the Expansion Pack installed some library objects will not display. By Robert Catherall.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
