Whitehorse International Airport (CYXY) for FSX transforms the stock field with satellite-based layout work, reshaped taxiways and aprons, correct runway lighting, added roads and parking areas, plus vegetation, ground traffic, and parked aircraft. It also places the fire station, updated GA stands, an animated 737-capable jetway, and a correctly sited heliport.

Whitehorse International Airport (CYXY), Yukon, Canada. This scenery is designed using ADE v1.40 using satellite imagery and detailed photos. Completely compatible with UTcanada and FSGenesis Western Canada. Whitehorse is a complete revamp of the stock version airport. Added roads, parking lots, ground vehicles and airplanes, vegetation, reshaped taxiways and aprons and put in proper runway lights. Includes the Whitehorse fire station. Also many hangars and adjusted GA parking to reflect real world. Added animated jetway to support Boeing 737s and heliport in correct area. This airport reflects nothing of the stock version. Whitehorse International Scenery.

Install: Place the Whitehorse Yukon Territory CYXY folder in your FSX/Addon scenery folder and manually activate it inside FSX..the basic procedure.

In the texture folder is a file detail1. This is a freeware grass texture designed by RealEnvironmentExtreme. It adds better color and clarity to grass textures.

All object are stock fsx, there are no buildings made with Gmax or other design software.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
