Scenery Custer Airport (ICAO: KTTF, FAA LID: TTF), sometimes referred to as Monroe Custer Airport, is a city-owned public airport located in the city of Monroe in Monroe County, Michigan (MI). The airport opened in November 1946 and was named for George Armstrong Custer, who spent much of his early life in Monroe. Custer Airport is able to accommodate a large variety of aircraft, including single engine aircraft, twin engine aircraft, and business jets such as the Cessna Citation and Learjet. The airport has personal hangars that house approximately 45 airplanes and a large hangar that houses several corporate aircraft as well as the Monroe Aviation School of Flight and Monroe Aviation Aircraft Maintenance. Created using Instant Scenery 2. AI Aircraft included. By John B. Loney, Jr.

Unzip custer_airport_fsx.zip to a temporary folder. Since you are reading this readme file, you must have already done that. You should see 3 zip files, custer_airport_fsx_scenery.zip, custer_airport_ai_aircraft.zip and screenshots_fsx.zip. Also you should see this readme file, the FILE_ID.DIZ file and the Readme.doc file. Finally you should see 2 .jpg files, kttf_1_fsx.jpg and kttf_6_fsx.jpg.
Check your file structure in your Windows Explorer. If your FS setup is like the following, then all you need to do is unzip custer_airport_fsx_scenery.zip to the drive where your FS is located. Unzip custer_airport_ai_aircraft.zip to a temporary folder and manually move the aircraft folders to the SimObjects\Airplanes folder.
:\Programs Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X.
Using the folder feature in your zip program, the scenery files will be placed in the FS\Addon Scenery folder under Custer Airport KTTF.
Start FS and navigate to 'Scenery Library' via the 'Settings' menu. Select 'Add Area' and activate the scenery in the usual manner. You can now proceed to the airport.
If your file structure is not like that mentioned above, then unzip the zip files to a temporary folder and manually move the Custer Airport KTTF folder to wherever you keep your add-on scenery, then activate the scenery in FSX. Then unzip the zip files containing the ai aircraft to a temporary folder and manually move all the aircraft to the FS\SimObjects\Airplanes folder. There are 5 ai aircraft included in this package created by yours truly.
Enjoy your flight.
