FSX Burirum Airport Scenery

Burirum Airport (VTUO) scenery refreshes Northeast Thailand with a cleaner apron layout and more accurate runway turning areas, shoulders, and stopways aligned to current satellite references. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it sharpens ground geometry for more convincing regional operations, including typical domestic turboprop service into Buri Ram.

Scenery Burirum Airport (VTUO), Thailand. A few improvements to basic FSX version of Buri Ram (Burirum) Airport in Northeast Thailand. Apron area tidied up and runway turning areas, shoulders and stopways added with reference to Google Earth. By John Ball.

Currently served by NOKAIR SAAB340s from Bangkok. Before that it was Phuket air YS11s and 737s and Air Andaman Fokker 50s before that.

INSTALLATION:

Paste all files named VTUO_ADEX (4) into yor MAIN FSX / Addon scenery / Scenery directory.

Launch FSX go to airports THAILAND, BURI RAM, VTUO

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
