Hammond Northshore Regional’s five approach plates serve all four ends of its two-runway layout, rather than concentrating instrument coverage on one alignment. RNAV (GPS) procedures are supplemented by ILS and localiser options. Runway 13/31 is 1,501 ft longer than 18/36, so the published approaches do not all lead to equivalent runway lengths. The airport diagram provides the corresponding ground-layout detail.
Among nearby fields, KMSY has a substantially broader chart set, while KAPS is closest to HDC in overall coverage. KASD, KBXA and KREG have thinner sets. The New Orleans sectional adds wider VFR context, the Terminal Area Chart gives more focused terminal-area coverage, and the US Gulf Coast Helicopter Route Chart adds specialised route information absent from the instrument procedures.
