Approach coverage

Three approaches serve both ends of the single 5,151 ft runway, so instrument coverage is available for either runway direction without a second alignment. Two RNAV (GPS) procedures form the main coverage, while the VOR procedure provides a non-GPS approach type. The airport diagram completes a compact chart set centred on one runway.

Local chart context

Louisiana Regional has comparable procedure coverage, while Thibodaux Municipal’s set is notably thinner. Hammond Northshore Regional offers somewhat more, and Lakefront and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International have much broader chart collections. The Houston and New Orleans sectionals provide wider VFR context, the New Orleans Terminal Area Chart adds more focused local detail, and the US Gulf Coast Helicopter Route Chart supplies the relevant helicopter-route depiction.
