South St Paul’s two approaches converge on a single end of runway 16/34: one RNAV (GPS) and one localiser procedure. This provides two forms of instrument guidance from that side, but no published instrument approach to the reciprocal end. With only one 4,002 ft runway, there is no alternative runway alignment, and the available length is the defining physical constraint for aircraft planning.
