Albert Whitted’s three RNAV (GPS) approaches serve three of its four runway ends, leaving one end without a published instrument approach. Coverage is therefore spread across both runway alignments but offers no alternative approach type. Runway 07/25 provides 812 ft more length than 18/36; the shorter north–south runway places the tighter runway-distance constraint on aircraft using that alignment.
Nearby procedure coverage varies markedly. Tampa International and St Pete-Clearwater International have substantially broader chart sets, while Peter O Knight and Clearwater Executive have thinner coverage; MacDill AFB is closest to Albert Whitted in overall chart volume. The Jacksonville and Miami sectionals provide wider VFR context, complemented by the more focused Tampa-Orlando Terminal Area Chart.
