FSX Kunduz Airport Scenery
Kunduz Airport (OAUZ) scenery brings northern Afghanistan into sharp focus with bespoke airport models and a photoreal ground base that shifts with the seasons. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it supports SP2 and requires Acceleration for the richest visual detail, enhancing ramp, runway, and surrounding terrain immersion.

FSX Acceleration will give the best results.(Also SP2 compatible). Acceleration users will have more eye candy!
Windows 7 users follow the following instructions:
- Unzip "Kunduz.zip" to a temp folder.
- Copy the "Kunduz_Afghanistan" folder to your "FSX/scenery" folder.
- Copy the "AFX_OAUZ_ALT.bgl" file to your "FSX/scenery/world/scenery" folder.
- Run FSX
- On the main page go to "settings"
- Now click on "scenery library"
- Now click on "Add area" and search for the scenery folder.
- Double click on the scenery folder and look for the"Kunduz_Afghanistan" folder.
- Double click on this folder and then you shall see a texture and a scenery folder. Click on the open area outside the two folders.
- The scenery will now load !
- Go to free flight and choose "OAUZ" to start your flight !

Extract the downloaded archive
Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files. -
Place scenery in Addon Scenery
Create a folder underFSX\Addon Scenery\containingsceneryandtexturesub-folders. -
Activate in Scenery Library
In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location. -

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.

Launch FSX or Prepar3D and use Flights → Load to open the downloaded .pln file. Your aircraft will be positioned at this location.
