A retro split-flap departure board brings Denver International’s outbound AI traffic to life with airport-style scrolling announcements, using the default schedule as its data source. Built for FSX, it requires DirectX 10 and can run on a sim PC or a spare networked machine to add authentic terminal ambience.

Here is a split flap departure announcement board that displays AI departure traffic for the Denver airport. The traffic was extracted from the list of default AI traffic. The split flap display requires DirectX10 and should run on Vista and Win7. It has not yet been tested on Win8. Run it on your flight sim computer or any other computer you have looking for something to do. By Kapock Cavanaugh.

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
