FSX Crazy Horse P-51

Crazy Horse P-51 brings a historically faithful North American P-51D turned dual-control TF-51 to FSX, finished in the authentic 48th Fighter Squadron, 352nd Fighter Group scheme flown from Asche, Belgium in 1945. It includes a complete aircraft package with custom textures, flight tuning, and a tailored panel and gauges for an immersive virtual cockpit.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

A repaint of Roger Dial's North American P51 Mustang D, modified for Flight Simulator X and entitled "Crazy Horse". It was built in 1944 as a P-51D and later converted to North American standards as a dual cockpit / dual controlled TF-51 Mustang. It wears the authentic colors of the 48th Fighter Squadron, 352nd Fighter Group, 8th Air Force at Asche, Belgium, 1945. "Crazy Horse" is one of only twelve dual controlled Mustangs existing in the world. This is a historicaly accurate. and is a complete aircraft Modified by Mark Rooks.

To install this aircraft:

As always back up any original files.

1.Unzip downloaded folders to your desktop or temporary directory of your choice.

2.Copy the "Crazy Horse " folder and paste it in the main aircraft folder.

3.Unzip and install the guages and panel.

By default the main aircraft folder is located at:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FSX\SIM Objects /Aircraft.

Textures and Air and CFG files created by Mark "Fire Ball" Rooks.

Enjoy your new repaint and air file.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
