Instrument coverage

Langlade County’s crossing runways receive fully even instrument coverage: each of the four ends has its own RNAV (GPS) approach. The procedure set therefore supports both runway alignments without concentrating approaches on a single end. With no published airport diagram, however, there is no separate charted overview of the runway layout.

Local chart context

The longer runway provides 610 ft more distance than the crossing strip while retaining a second alignment. Among nearby fields, Rhinelander/Oneida County has broader chart coverage, while Crandon/Steve Conway Municipal is notably thinner; Merrill, Wausau Downtown and Shawano Municipal sit between them. The Green Bay Sectional adds surrounding visual context not provided by the instrument procedures.
