A livery contains textures and configuration entries, not the flyable aircraft. You must already own or have installed the PC-12 model named in the download description.
Which PC-12 model must the repaint support?
The repaint must match both the simulator generation and the exact PC-12 package; “PC-12” alone is not enough.

You can use our MSFS 2024 aircraft list to confirm the included Pilatus PC-12 NGX. Do not assume an MSFS 2020 PC-12 repaint supports that aircraft: two models representing the same real aeroplane can use different texture names, model definitions and UV mapping.
How do I install a PC-12 livery on PC?
Extract the livery and place its actual package folder inside the active MSFS Community folder. The location of that folder depends on your installation and any custom Packages path; our complete MSFS livery installation steps cover those locations.
- Download and extract the archive. Do not copy the ZIP, RAR or 7z archive itself into
Community. - Find the package root. This is normally the folder containing files such as
manifest.jsonandlayout.json. - Copy that package folder. Place it in the active
Communityfolder, not the simulator’s protected official-content folder. - Restart Microsoft Flight Simulator. Packages are most reliably detected during start-up.
- Select the correct PC-12. Open that aircraft’s livery or paint-scheme selector and choose the new repaint.
Why is my PC-12 livery not showing?
A missing PC-12 livery is usually caused by an aircraft mismatch or an extra nested folder.
- Wrong aircraft model: confirm that the download names the precise PC-12 package you selected in the simulator.
- Folder nested too deeply: open the installed folder and check that the package files are not hidden inside a second identically named folder.
- Archive not extracted: MSFS does not load a normal compressed download as a Community package.
- Wrong Community folder: multiple installations or a custom Packages location can leave an unused
Communityfolder elsewhere on the PC. - Duplicate or obsolete package: remove older copies of the same repaint and check whether the aircraft has changed since the livery was released.
Console limitation: downloaded Community-folder liveries cannot be installed manually on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 or PS5 Pro. Console users can use only repaints distributed through supported in-simulator channels or bundled with the aircraft. On PlayStation this applies to MSFS 2024; Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was never released for PlayStation.
