Go PROGreater Houston’s spread of urban development, bayous and ship-channel industry fills this sheet, from the Katy Prairie east towards Anahuac and from the Lake Conroe area south to the upper reaches of Galveston Bay. The landscape is predominantly flat coastal plain, with wetlands, reservoirs and winding waterways providing much of the visual structure beyond the dense metropolitan core. To the south-east, the adjoining US Gulf Coast chart extends coverage towards the coast.
This Helicopter Route Chart concentrates on the congested Houston terminal area and its helicopter-oriented route presentation. The Terminal Area Chart covers the same broad place at a detailed terminal scale but serves a wider mix of aircraft and terminal operations. The Sectional Aeronautical Chart places Houston within a much larger regional setting, making it the more useful companion when a simulated flight begins or ends well beyond the metropolitan area. Together, the three products offer progressively different views of Houston’s urban centre, surrounding coastal plain and wider cross-country context.

Take the GeoTIFF if you are loading the chart into moving-map software or a flight planner — it is georeferenced, so the software can place it correctly on a map, and it ships with a world file and FGDC metadata at 300 dpi (25.2 MB). Take the PDF to print it or read it on a second screen (51.9 MB); it is the same chart without georeferencing.
