  • Dead zone: add the smallest amount that stops a centred stick or twist axis from flickering. Large values create an obvious control-free area around the centre.
  • Sensitivity: reduce response around the centre if the aircraft feels too twitchy. This changes handling feel; it does not recalibrate the hardware.
  • Neutral: leave it at the default unless a clean, stable Windows signal has a small centre offset that cannot be corrected by calibration.
  • Extremity dead zone: use it cautiously when a stable axis falls slightly short of the commanded endpoint.
  • Reactivity: retain the default unless you have a specific reason to slow rapid input changes.

There is no universal X52 percentage because centre wear and electrical noise differ between units.
