Go PROCentred on the Kansas–Missouri border, this sheet takes in the Kansas City metropolitan area, the meeting of the Kansas and Missouri rivers, and a broad sweep of north-eastern Kansas and western Missouri. It reaches west beyond Topeka, east into rural Missouri, north past St Joseph and south towards Warrensburg. Flying here is shaped less by major terrain barriers than by gently undulating plains, river valleys and the marked contrast between a large urban centre and the surrounding farmland.
The Terminal Area Chart keeps attention on Kansas City and its immediate surroundings across both states. For routes extending farther from the metropolitan area, the FAA Sectional Aeronautical Chart covering the same ground provides broader geographic context at a smaller scale. The terminal sheet concentrates detail around the city, while the sectional places it within longer routes across the central United States.

Take the GeoTIFF if you are loading the chart into moving-map software or a flight planner — it is georeferenced, so the software can place it correctly on a map, and it ships with a world file and FGDC metadata at 300 dpi (16.5 MB). Take the PDF to print it or read it on a second screen (34.2 MB); it is the same chart without georeferencing.
This is the FAA edition effective 9 July 2026, which is superseded on 3 September 2026. Visual charts are reissued every 56 days and we publish each new edition on the day it takes effect. It is for flight simulation and reference only — not for real-world navigation.
