On August 24, 2001, a A330 C-GITS was operating as Air Transat Flight 236, during the flight, the pilots saw a unbalanced fuel. The warning came on, the pilots were over the atlantic(they were going from Toronto, Canada to Lisbon, Portugal). They planned to divert to a airport on a small island. But they had turned on crossfeed(put fuel from one side to the other) to balance but there was a fuel leak, so instead the fuel was wasted out while trying to crossfeed. They saw fuel was very low, so they planned to land at Lajes Air Base. At 5:48 UTC, a emergency was declared. At 6:13 engine no.2 flamed out, plane was unable to stay at 39,000ft so they went to 33,000ft. When engine no. 2 flamed out they were still miles away(135) from Lajas. Ten minutes later a mayday was declared. At 6:26 UTC the other engine also flamed out, they were about 65nm from Lajes. Now the more than 200,000 pound(i think) A330 becomes a glider. Without engine power, the hydraulic won't work, the ram air turbine gave them limited hydraulics to land or ditch the plane. They saw the air base. The Captain had too do some 360 turn to lose altitude. The pilot sees a cliff at the end(i think) and they were coming in 200kts, faster than normal landing speed. The plane touched and bounced up again, it touched again and stopped, there were injuries, but not life threatening. Enjoy this pic!
I hope i am uploading the right pic here, in this flight, even though was good, i forgot everything, even though i didn't want contact ATC, I forgot to check that is there another plane on the runway thats in a collision course(SFO's rwy 1L and 1R was in use when i took off from 10L?). So i checked and it was fine. I also forgot to set RTO autobrakes, but i didn't want 2 abort just to set the autobrakes so i coutinued. On landing i forgot my autobrakes too, lol. The flight started from San Francisco 10pm in the night and arrived at St Maarten in day, it was a smooth landing(did come low over the beach). Comments Please.
The c-130 is a transport plane that can carry troops, millitary tanks, cars(i think), people. On 27, june, 1976, a Air France A300 registration F-BVGG was from Tel Aviv, Israel, took off from Athens headed for Paris, as Air France Flight 139. after 12:30pm takeoff and was hijacked by two Palestinains, two Germans. It was held on ground for 7hrs for refuelling. The plane took off from Benghazi, at 3:15pm it arrived at Entebbe, there was at least another 4 hijackers that joined, surpported by pro-palestinian forces of Uganda's President. They wanted the release of 40 Palestinians in israel and 13 others in Kenya, They threatened that if they didn't listen, they would begin to kill hostages in 1 july, 1976. The hijackers made two groups: jews and gentiles. At annoucement they said that the airline crew and now jewish passengers would be released and put on another plane that had been brought to Entebbe. Flight Captain Michal Bacos told the hijackers that all his passengers were his responsibility and that he won't leave them behind. After maybe some people left the plane there were about 85 israeli hostages still aboard, and 20 including the crew(?). On the 1 july deadline, the israeli goverment wanted to ask to make the deadline to 4 july. More time for rescue forces to get to entebbe. On 3 july the rescue mission was approved. Israeli Air Force C-130 flew secretly to entebbe by night, wihout help from Entebbe ground. The route was over the red sea sometimes, at a altitude of less than 100ft to avoid radar. They went over many places and they were followed by 707 jets. The first 707 carried medical facilities and landed in a airport in Kenya. The second 707 circled around entebbe during the rescue. When the planes landed 11:00pm the cargo door was open, something bursted(a shot?) and they feared that the hijackers knew they were there, so they quickly sent the rescue into action. All 7 hijackers were killed. Out of 105 passengers 3 was killed and 10 injured. many Uganda Air Force planes were destoryed on ground. The rescued passengers was flown to israel via Nairobi, Kenya. The De havilland Comet is the first Jetliner(Jet Airliner) in the world, Developed by De Havilland. It had its first flight in 1949. And in 1952 it begins service. The first versions of the Comet had metal fatigue probelms. BOAC flight 781 broke and crashed into the Mediterranean sea, all people died. Later after some modifications, Comet Resumed Service. Later South African Airways Flight 201 crashed like BOAC flight 781. The fleet was grounded again. The De Havilland Comet had to be redesigned. The comet 4 was a new version, it made the De Havilland Comets return to flying. But the 707 and DC-8 are faster and less costly. The last comet was delivered in 1964. The Comet 4 had 30 years of career. Still today The Hawker Siddeley Nimrod, a millitary version of the Comet is still in Service for the British Royal Air Force. The Comet had 4 engines, as long as a 737 but lesser seats and more Comfort. Aerospatiale/BAE Concorde is a beautiful Supersonic Airliner plane, way way Better than the TU-144. In 2, March, 1969, Concorde had its first flight, it entered service in 1976. Only 20 Concorde were built. They flew regular flights from Londow, Paris to New York, Washington. The Concorde very is famous, it takes normally for a plane to take like 8hrs to go from London or Paris to New York but for the concorde its 3.5hrs. Concorde flys up to more than 50,000ft and goes mach 2(normal airliners only go like 0.85). It can carry over 100 passengers for more than 3,000nm. British Airways and Air France uses them, Singapore Airlines also use them(all af, ba, sq's are retired). On July, 25, 2000 A Air France Concorde operating as Air France 4590 crashed after takeoff from Paris, When rotating up there was fire on the left wing, the crew shut a engine down, pilot plans to land at Le Bourget Airport which is straight ahead, but it can't retract the landing gear and hanged in the air due to low speed, It stalled and crashed into a hotel, a total of 113 people died, no one on the plane surived, it was the only crash of a concorde. After the crash concorde was grounded, those other concorde was allowed to return back from New York with no passengers. Investigation says that a thing fell of from a continental airlines DC-10 which had taken off before the Concorde, the Metal Strip went to burst the tyres of the Concorde and the tyres hit the fuel tank and exploded, but it had to first cause a spark, so they said it went and hit a wire in the concorde also, which caused the spark, but other sayings about why it crashed continues. After fixing the tyre problem on Concordes they plan to resume Concorde Services. But just before Service Resumed, the September, 11th attacks took place and caused a market drop in passenger numbers, even after Concorde resumed service, they were retired in late 2003. Air France ended Concorde flights in May, 2003, British Airways ended the flights in October 2003. I did a flight from KSFO and Landed in KDFW, i was taxiing on the pic.
after a long time having problems installing the abacus 787, i did it. Details: I started the download but the speed is like 10 kb/s, its saying take a hour, oh.. after a while(10min?) its seems like already done, okk try installing. I ignored norton antivirus and tried to install, but there was an error. I think that's because its suppose to take an hour to download only took a little time while i was away means its like only 1/5 way downloaded, later(a day later?) i tried download again, and it didn't take any time, it just showed up, so i thought thats because its in a internet files folder inside the computer, I clicked run again but there was an error too. I want to wait a while to download it(when that that file gets out of the internet file folder). After a day? i tried again this time i saw the download thing again it lasted 100kb/s then went down to 50kb/s, at last went to 60kb/s, then i waited for the setup i entered the number and went ready to install but out of disk space. so i went to remove some of the useless planes and cleared up disk space...and i installed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boeing 787 test flight/air show in KPAE, this shows the early planned design of the 7e7, later boeing named it 787 and instead of dophin fins like tail, it was designed like a normal 777 tail, the program started in the 2000s the first flight was planned in 2007 and planned to enter service in 2008 but after many delays it became in late 2009 for the first flight. In December, 2009 it took high speed taxi tests and tested aborted takeoffs, then on 15th, December 2009, the 787 had its first flight, it took off from KPAE and landed in Boeing Field, Seattle. Many people came to watch it. Later an ANA colored 787 also joined the test program, as of 2009 there were over 800 orders for the 787. I have been to flagstaff many times in real life but rarely with sim, i saw it looked great and took this plane and took off from SFO, the plane is very has lots of power, it pitched like more than 23 when taking off, hope that won't stall in real life, it was a scary landing okk, da mountain is straight ahead....trun...line up with runway, too steep, its ok i am not going over the flap speed limit, 40 flaps. It was a nice, But the passengers didn't have time to enjoy da entire movie. It only takes a min to comment or rate this pic!
United Airlines Flight 93 was one of the planes hijacked in september, 11th terroist attacks, the other ones were American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 were the ones that crashed in the WTC towers, the other ones are American Airlines Flight 77 and United Airlines Flight 93. The Boeing B757-200 plane registration N591UA took off from Newark 8:42am in the morning after pushing back from gate A17 and heads for San Francisco with 44 passengers aboard. By 9:02 the plane reached cruising altidude of 35,000ft. United Flight 175 has already hit the buildings so people sent flight 93 messanges to be careful, but at 9:28 the plane was hijacked, by this time AA11 and UA175 has already crashed into the WTC buildings and AA flight 77 will soon crash into pentagon, when the Mayday call was said, there was no reply. The hijackers flew the plane towards washington D.C, their target is unkown, maybe for the white house, or other important buildings. At 9:31 ATC heard Jarrah(one of the hijackers) saying something like ''ah. here is the captain, i tell you all to remian seated. we have a bomb aboard. So Sit!'' At 9:39 they heard him say again something simmilar ''.....we are heading back to the airport, and we have our demands.......''. The Passengers started to make calls to their family members. Tom Burnett made some calls and during one of the calls, his wife informed him of the attacks on WTC, he ended the call by saying don't worry we'll do something''. A flight attendent called and reported that another one was stabbed and the hijackers had knives.... Mark Bingham called his mother, he said that the plane was hijacked by three men saying they have a bomb. Jeremy Glick called his wife saying that 3 dark skinned man looked like iranian....
Lauren Grandcolas left a messange said jack, pick up sweetie....she said that there was a little problem on the plane and the she was fine.... Many others called too, finaly the passengers desided to Revolt! Todd Beamer said Okay you allright, Lets Roll! All the passngers rushed to the hijackers, Jarrah, the hijacker rolled the plane up and down left and right to keep the passengers from attacking them, he asked shall we finish it off? another hijacker said ''no not yet, when they all come, we'll finish it off!'' Jarrah pitched the plane up and down one passenger yelled ''if we don't we'll die!'' 16 seconds later another passenger said ''roll it!''. The hijacker asked shall ''we pull it down?'' Another hijacker said ''yes pull it down..'' the aircraft crashed into an empty field in Pennsylvania. All people died, but this flight is famous because the other flights crashed where the hijackers wanted but this flight, due to the passengers revolt, crashed where the hijackers didn't want.
Some people say the passnegers already went in the cockpit. Still there are questions of why the plane crashed.
