FS2004 AFCAD Files

AFCAD files are the skeleton of the airport or scenery, for example parking gates and taxiways and holding point information are stored in AFCAD files. These files do not show anything visually, but it's more along the lines of providing information to the simulator software so it may assign runways, parking gates and taxiways for you when you request them via ATC.

AFCAD Pack (Airport Scenery) by Leo Pardon

Leo Pardon presents 96 countries covered and more than 95 individual files that add parking and gates at lesser-known airports worldwide, based on real-world data. The assets are .bgl files compatible with AFCAD 2.04 or later and are not intended to precisely reflect taxiing and parking layouts, but they increase available spaces for AI traffic.

RAF AI Flight Package

Eleven RAF bases in the UK receive parking for a range of aircraft, including F-15 C and E at Lakenheath, KC-135 and MC-130s at Mildenhall, and C-17 and VC-10 at Brize Norton. A readme links to suggested AI airframes and light flight plans for low-end PCs, by Dave O'Brien.

Both runways gain extensions and new approach lighting, and a crosswind technique enables simultaneous use; assigned parking serves all airlines, including UK Air Force and Army transports, for the default Belfast Aldergrove layout, with file AF2_xxxx accompanying.

Russian AFCAD2 Files V2

The project includes approximately one hundred airports across the former Soviet Union, with some files for non-default bases. Lighting uses a look-like approach; the files restore runway markings on all fields, parking sizes follow PAI radius settings, and no overflow parking exists; duplicates may appear when a prior version is present due to filename changes.
