Aeromexico to Buy 100 Boeing Aircraft

Aeromexico, also known as Airways of Mexico, has signed an agreement with Boeing for purchasing 90 Boeing 737-8 Max and 10 787-9s, in a deal worth nearly $11 billion.

Aeroméxico is the flag carrier airline of Mexico, and it operates domestic and international services to Central America, South America, North America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean.

The airline did not announce the delivery schedule for the aircraft.

Aeroméxico operates a fleet of Boeing aircraft, including Boeing 737, Boeing 767, and Boeing 777. In addition to the new orders, the company also has orders for two Boeing 787-8s.

The Aeroméxico Group, which includes Aeroméxico airline and a subsidiary regional airline known as Aeroméxico Connect, operates about 600 flights every day to 80 destinations across South America, North America, Central America, Asia and Europe.
