On June 25th the Deer Valley Flying Club has its 1st year anniversary. This is the first and only flying club dedicated to general aviation and the adult enthusiast.
The Deer Valley Flying Club is not a VA, but a general aviation club. Our interactive website allows are members to rent and purchase aircraft with DV bucks. We also provide our members with an online logbook, forum and have some of the best aircraft painters in the hobby.
With over 100 members now you can always find lots of pilots on our member-only FShost server and teamspeak server flying hops or flying around KDVT using our own Air traffic controllers in this Class D airspace.
We are located at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport. KDVT is classified as a general aviation reliever airport for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. With over 389,500 takeoffs and landings in 2003, KDVT is the second busiest general aviation airport and 20th busiest airport in the United States.
To Celebrate our Birthday, Deer Valley Flying Club with have an open house June 25th, 26th and 27th.
Friday night June 25th
A fly-in to Phoenix Deer Valley Airport from all over the US and the world. Our tower will be active for incoming aircraft.
Saturday June 26th
Our guest will be able to enjoy live ATC provided by some of our real world pilots, an Arizona Hoplist, Chopper Flights to Bank One Ballpark and Grand Canyon Sunset flights just to name a few of the many activities around Deer Valley.
Sunday June 27th
Dawn departure From Deer Valley via Phoenix Sky Harbor KPHX for a flight to Seattle. We will all meet up at Emma Field for some afternoon Sailplane flights.
