RealScenery announces the release of all new scenery for the State of Washington, USA.

10,000 images
66,500 sq mi / 172,000 sq km
29 scenery files
Full support for versions 8 & 9 of X-Plane

The new Washington scenery is available as two separate scenery packages for X-Plane 8 & 9. These packages cover the entire State of Washington. This is a scenery extension to X-Plane and allows you to view the actual terrain just as if you were really flying. X-Plane's land-use based scenery is very good, but RealScenery allows you to fly with real terrain for a an even more realistic experience.

The new State of Washington scenery includes the cities of Seattle, Everett and Tacoma in the Puget Sound metro area, home to several Boeing aircraft production facilities. Washington also features the Cascade and Olympic Mountains, high-deserts and lush forests, and the beautiful coastline along the Pacific Ocean.

As a bonus, the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area is also included as well as the northern Oregon Cascade Mountains including Oregon's tallest peak, Mt. Hood.

These images are not overlays on the existing scenery, but actual image replacements built into the base terrain mesh. The result is outstanding image quality and performance in a package that is also very easy to use and install. An entire gallery of images and two movies highlighting the scenery are now available on the newly rebuilt web site.

Whether you're a previous customer or new to RealScenery, we hope you will visit our web site to look at the next generation of scenery packages for X-Plane. Demo scenery packages are also available to test before you order.

We are now accepting orders, with the first set of DVDs planned for shipping the week of 5/11/08.
