FSX 100 Squadron Boneyard Hawk. A repaint of David Brice and David Friswell's T45 Goshawk / T1 Hawk. The paint scheme is the BAE Hawk T.1A RAF. No. 100 Squadron formed at Hingham in Norfolk on 23 February 1917. The squadron motto "Sarang tebuan jangan dijolok" is Malayan and translates as "Never stir up a hornets nest". All squadron Hawk aircraft are marked with the blue and gold checkers of the borough of Stamford either side of the fuselage roundel. These relate to a period in the 1950s and 60s when the Squadron was based at Wittering. The skull and crossbones emblem carried on the fin dates from 1917 when 100 Squadron was serving on the Western Front. FSX RAF Black BAE Hawk FTS. A repaint of David Brice and David Friswell's T45 Goshawk / T1 Hawk. The paint scheme is the BAE Hawk T.1A of the RAF Flying Training School. The Hawk has now been in service with No. 4 FTS for nearly thirty years and has been a landmark in RAF history. Today No. 4 FTS's training course is split between two reserve squadrons, No. 19 and 208. The model represents a Hawk T.1A from No. 4 FTS in the current gloss black paint scheme used on all RAF training aircraft. Includes pictures and history of the actual aircraft. FSX Royal Air Force Red Arrows. A repaint of the David Brice and David Friswell T45 Goshawk / T1 Hawk. The paint scheme is the Royal Air Force's demonstration team The Red Arrows. The Red Arrows were officially formed at RAF Fairford on 1 March 1965, led by Flight Lieutenant Lee Jones, flying seven Folland Gnat aircraft. In 1966 the number of aircraft was increased to nine, and since then the classic 'Diamond Nine' formation has become the team's trademark. In 1979 the Red Arrows converted to the BAE Hawk T1's. By the end of the 2003 season the team had given 3750 displays in fifty-two countries. Original read me file included and original effects. Includes pictures and history of The Red Arrows Team. FSX Have Blue 1001. The 'Have Blue' program was built in the legendary 'Building 82' where the A-12 and U-2 were built earlier. Early on November 16th 1976 'Have Blue' 1001 was loaded into a C-5A Galaxy and flown out of Burbank to the highly secret Test Facility near Groom Lake, called Area 51. On December 1st 1977, Skunkworks test pilot Bill Park climbed into the Have Blue prototype with the designation 'HB1001' and took it on its maiden flight out of Area 51. This is a modified version of Craig Richardson's F117 Nighthawk for Flight Simulator X, painted in the first Have Blue camo paint scheme. Includes pictures and history. FSX F-20 Tigershark GI1002. A repaint of DSB Designs' F-20 Tigershark, updated for Flight Simulator X. The F-20 Tigershark was designed, built and tested by the Northrop Corporation in the early 1980's. Three prototypes were built, of which two crashed during sales demonstrations. FSX Grumman AF-2S Guardian. The Grumman AF-2 Guardian was a single-engine, carrier-based, anti-submarine aircraft used by the US Navy during the Korean War. A prototype of the Guardian first flew on 18 December 1946, but the Guardian went through a lengthy development process with several different prototypes being built. The first production Guardian flew on 17 November 1949, and Guardians entered service with the US Navy on 18 October 1950. The Guardian was designed to be used in hunter/killer pairs. The "hunter", the AF-2W, had a four-man crew operating a ventral radar. The "killer", the AF-2S or AF-3S, had a two-man crew and could carry up to 4,000 lbs. of internal and 1,500 lbs. of external ordnance, typically sonobouys and depth charges. The Guardian had a 2,400 hp engine and a maximum speed of 317 mph. About 400 of all versions were built. Guardians flew combat missions from US Navy aircraft carriers in Korean waters from March 1951 through May 1953.The Guardian remained in service with the US Navy until 1955. By Marty Strong.

FSX Tiger Meet Of The America's F16. A repaint of Kirk Olsson's Lockheed Martin F-16 Viper, painted in a tiger-striped paint scheme belonging to the 140th Fighter Wing, 120th Fighter Squadron, Colorado Air National Guard. The aircraft has tiger stripes applied to the upper surfaces and represented the Colorado ANG as their official Tiger jet as the unit hosted the inaugural Tiger Meet of the Americas in mid-August, 2001. The inaugural meet closely mirrors the NATO Tiger Meet and brings together military units that have large cats as their mascots. Includes pictures and history.
