Go PRODetroit’s cross-border urban corridor sits at the centre of this sheet, with coverage extending across south-eastern Michigan, north-western Ohio, north-eastern Indiana and adjoining southern Ontario. Dense development follows the Detroit River and the shores of Lake St Clair and western Lake Erie, while flatter farmland spreads west and south. Water, shoreline and the international boundary are therefore prominent geographical references alongside the broad metropolitan footprint.
The chart reaches north beyond the Detroit conurbation, west across southern Michigan, south into the Toledo region and east across the river into Ontario. At roughly 123 nautical miles across, it holds the terminal area and useful surrounding context on one sheet. The Cleveland Terminal Area Chart adjoins to the south-east, continuing towards northern Ohio and the Lake Erie shore.
For a wider regional view, the Sectional Aeronautical Chart covers the same area at a smaller scale. The Helicopter Route Chart provides more specialised coverage for helicopter operations, while this chart presents the Detroit terminal area at the more detailed scale associated with the Terminal Area Chart series.

Approach plates and airport diagrams for every airport in the states this sheet covers:
Flying the area on this sheet? Every approach plate and airport diagram for Michigan is available as a single 116.2 MB archive (546 charts) — see the Michigan airports.
It spans 41.6°N to 42.9°N and 85.1°W to 82.3°W. Airports on the sheet fall within Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. The full list of public-use airports within its coverage is on this page.
Take the GeoTIFF if you are loading the chart into moving-map software or a flight planner — it is georeferenced, so the software can place it correctly on a map, and it ships with a world file and FGDC metadata at 300 dpi (22.5 MB). Take the PDF to print it or read it on a second screen (45.4 MB); it is the same chart without georeferencing.
This is the FAA edition effective 9 July 2026, which is superseded on 3 September 2026. Visual charts are reissued every 56 days and we publish each new edition on the day it takes effect. It is for flight simulation and reference only — not for real-world navigation.
