John Hinson offers an adjustment for the default Douglas DC-3 that lets ground steering operate as if a tail-wheel exists, controlled by the rudder input. Those without a twist joystick can still steer with ailerons, while pilots with separate throttles and pedals may find this unnecessary, and steering mirrors airborne handling without corner banking.
